Character Limitations

This article contains information about the character limitations for searching job boards and leads, and what happens when your search exceeds the character limit.
Maximum Limit and Search Trimming
The maximum limit for any search is 4000 characters.
What happens if your search exceeds the character limit?
For a candidate search, will automatically trim your search:
- Assuming all keyword groups have the same amount of keywords, one keyword will be removed from each keyword group, starting from the last keyword group.
- If one keyword group has more keywords than another, that keyword group will be trimmed first before removing keywords from the smaller keyword group.
- Excluded keyword groups will be removed first, so your Boolean string doesn't end up including more NOTs than ANDs.
