What Uses a Credit?

Overview

This article explains which actions use a credit for each job board.

CV-Library

CV-Library uses a credit / download when:

• Downloading a CV
• Clicking View contact details
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.

When does this Reset?

You can perform any action for 28 days on the same candidate without it using a credit. If you perform any action on the same candidate after 28 days then it will use a credit.

Reed

Reed uses a credit when:

• Clicking View Candidate
• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.​

When does this Reset?

If you view a candidate, you can freely view them again without spending a credit until midnight. If you view them after this, it will use a credit.

TotalJobs Group

TotalJobs Group (TotalJobs, Caterer, CWJobs, RetailChoice, CareerStructure, Jobsite, CityJobs, eMedCareers, JustEngineers) uses a credit when:

• Clicking View Candidate
• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.

​When does this Reset?

After viewing or downloading a candidate's profile and using a credit, you will still have access to this info for the next 30 days. This will use another credit if you:

• View the candidate's details / CV / contact details after the 30 days
• Download / view CV / contact details of any other candidate

Searching for candidates in CV search will not use an additional credit.

eFinancial

eFinancial uses a credit when:

• Clicking View Candidate
• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.

DICE

DICE uses a credit when :

• Clicking View Candidate - This counts as a credit anytime you click on it, even if it is the same candidate.
• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can View and Download CV on the same candidate and it will only use one credit. If you View a candidate and Share then this will count as two credits (similar to Download and Share).

Monster

Monster uses a credit when:

• Clicking View Candidate
• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.

When does this Reset?

This will reset after 30 days or when the candidate updates their CV.

JobServe

JobServe uses a credit when:

• Downloading a CV
• Sharing a CV
• Clicking on Add to CRM, Add to Shortlist, Add to Hotlist, or Add Note (Any CRM action)

You can perform all of these actions on the same candidate and it will only use one credit.

A credit will be used again if the candidate uploads a new CV.
