Autobuild uses AI to create a tailored candidate search from any job record in Bullhorn. Instead of manually creating a search from scratch, you can use Autobuild to get you started with suggested keywords and criteria, saving you time and helping you find the ideal candidate.
How Autobuild Works
When you select a job record, Autobuild will create a candidate search based on the information stored on the job record. By default, this includes keywords relevant to the job description, a matching job title, and a location within 30 miles/kilometers (depending on your user preferences) of the job's location. You can refine the criteria and add/remove keywords before running the search.
When you run the search, it works the same way as an Advanced Search. Candidates will be returned if they meet the criteria and have the required keywords within any the following data points in their record:
- Candidate Name
- Occupation
- Current Company
- Resume
- Work History
- File Attachments
Using Autobuild
Before you begin, ensure there is data in the Public Description and Internal Description fields for the job record you want to use in your search.
-
On the Candidate list, open the Quick Search and enter a keyword. From here, the system will search for relevant matching job titles in your ATS and will list them below for you to select from.
-
Click on the job you'd like to use to search for candidates that would be a good fit.
-
You can hover over any truncated values in this list to see the full value.
-
-
After selecting a job, you’ll be taken to an advanced search prepopulated with the following criteria:
-
Keywords: Keywords from the job description.
-
Candidate Occupation: The job title.
-
Candidate Full Address (if enabled - see Additional Notes): Defaults to a radius within 30 miles or 30 kilometers from the job location, depending on your user preferences.
-
Additional criteria such as Status and Work Preference, if enabled by an Admin.
-
-
You can refine the search by adding and amending filters and keywords. As you amend the search criteria, the SHOW CANDIDATES button will dynamically display the number of matching candidates.
-
Click SHOW CANDIDATES to run the search.
-
The results will be sorted by a new Relevancy Bar Column, with the candidates most suited for the job higher up on the list.
Additional Notes
-
Location criteria will only be included in the search if enabled by an Admin. See Autobuild & Automatch Customization for more information.
-
Admins may also configure additional default filters such as Status and Work Preference. All default criteria can be overridden for individual searches.
-
If there is more than one location criteria listed, when searching external job boards, only the first added location will be passed to the job boards. This is due to some job boards' searching limitations. You can still search your candidates in more than one location.
