Dynamic Match

Dynamic Match in Bullhorn is a feature that automatically identifies when a candidate's credentials meet the requirements for a placement. This enhancement simplifies the credentialing process, eliminating the need for manual matching by Compliance Specialists. Dynamic Match displays matches directly within the requirements slide-out of the Compliance Manager, as well as on the Credentials tab for both Placements and Candidates. By ensuring only valid credentials are considered, Dynamic Match accelerates the onboarding process and enhances the candidate experience by reducing redundant credential requests.

Setup Steps

You must be a Admin user to follow these steps.

Configure System Settings

Dynamic Matching connects Candidate Credentials to Placement Requirements. To ensure this works correctly, you need to set up certain statuses. At least one must be present for Dynamic Match to work.

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to Menu > Admin > System Settings.
  2. Expand credentialStatusSettings.
  3. In the Value: section, Complete statuses field, ensure at least one of the following values are present:
    • Current
    • Complete
    • Verified
    • Reviewed
  4. Click Save Changes.

Check Field Mappings

To ensure that credentials can be transferred correctly, you need to verify that the appropriate field is visible.

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to Menu > Admin > Field Mappings.
  2. Expand Credential.
  3. Ensure the isTransferable field is unhidden.
  4. Click Save.

Add or Edit Credentials

Set up new credentials or edit existing ones to allow dynamic matching.

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to Menu > Admin > Credentials.
  2. Select an existing Credential or click Add Credential to add a new one.
  3. Next to the Transferable field, select Yes.
  4. Click Save.

Adding a Placement Requirement

Once setup by an admin, Dynamic Match occurs for the Add Placement Requirement workflows.

Dynamic matching only occurs if a credential exists on the Candidate record at the time the Placement Requirement is added. The Candidate Credential must have one of the following Credential Statuses: Current, Complete, Verified, or Reviewed.

If a value is entered into the Certification Expiration Date field, it must be in the future and not within 30 calendar days of the Placement start date.

Adding Requirements to a Job Record

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to a Job record.
  2. Select Credentials Requirements.
  3. Enter the required fields.
  4. Click Save.

Adding Requirements to a Placement Record

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to a Placement record.
  2. Select the Credentials tab.
  3. Select Add Requirements.
  4. Enter the required fields.
  5. Click Save.

Adding Requirements via Compliance Manager

  1. From Bullhorn, navigate to Menu > Compliance Manager.
  2. Select one or more Placement records.
  3. Click # Selected > Add Requirements.
  4. Enter the required fields.
  5. Click Save.
