Convert a Job Lead to a Job Order

Overview

This articles walks you through how to convert a Job LeadClosed Name of BH4SF custom object. It stores details about a Job position not yet advertised or confirmed by a potential Client. Once the Client agrees to use the recruiter's services to fill the open position, then a Job Lead can be converted into Job record. to a JobClosed A job (vacancy, position, role) is an opening for which a customer's client needs a placement. order. The Status of a Job LeadClosed A record that holds a potential relationship with a person or company. Examples: candidates, contacts, companies, jobs. remains Open until it is marked as Lost or the Job Lead is converted into a Job Order. Converting the Job Lead starts the process of recruiting CandidatesClosed A person looking for a job. A candidate can also be referred to as a Job Seeker, Applicant, or Provider. for the Job.

Job Lead Conversion Steps

  1. Open the desired Job Lead record
  2. Select the Quick Actions dropdown and choose Create Job Order.

  3. The Job Lead Conversion popup window is displayed.
  4. Save to confirm the Job Lead conversion. You have the option to edit or enter new data, but it is not required.

  5. The Job Edit popup window opens. Enter the required fields and additional fields as needed. Click Save to finalize.
