The following terminology is referenced in the description:

Order of Execution

The order of execution is used to calculate the default Power Notes Subject. Below is the order of execution:

  1. When there are Field Specific Power Notes Subject Configurations with Is Default checkbox enabled, the contextual Power Note object record field (specified in the configuration’s Field API Name) is evaluated to have the value mentioned in the configuration’s Field Values field.
  2. When a contextual Power Note object record matches only one Field Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration, its related subject is returned as default.
  3. When a contextual Power Note object record matches several Field Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration, the subject for a configuration with the latest Last Modified Date wins.
  4. When a contextual Power Note object record does not match any of the Field Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration, OR when there are no Field Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration for the object and location, then the relevant Location Specific Power Notes Subject Configurations with Is Default checkbox enabled are considered.
    1. When there is only one Location Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration, its related subject is returned as default.
    2. When there are several Location Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration, the subject for a configuration with the latest ‘Last Modified Date’ wins.
  5. When there are no relevant Location Specific Power Notes Subject Configuration with Is Default checkbox enabled, the relevant Power Notes Subject records having Is Default checkbox enabled are considered:
    1. When there is only one default subject, it is returned as a result.
    2. When there are several default subjects, the one with the latest Last Modified Date wins.
