Merging Duplicate Candidate Records in Bullhorn One

If a Bullhorn One candidate exists in Bullhorn ATS with two different Bullhorn IDs, and you have determined the records should be merged, you'll need to ensure they're merged successfully in both Bullhorn ATS and Bullhorn Time & Expense (BTE).

Follow these steps to ensure a successful merge of records and ensure no duplicate timesheets have been processed:

Notes, ownership, files, profile data and activity for this record will be moved to the record above, and this record will be deleted.

Merging Candidate Records is not recommended for Bullhorn One customers due impacts on Pay & Bill data. Contact Support to discuss the potential merge before following any of the steps below.

  1. In the BTE Time Management Console (TMC), use the search feature to find the candidate by name.
  2. Check if hours have been entered by the candidate.
