Why Time & Labor

Enabling Time & Labor for existing Bullhorn One customers is no additional cost. Contact your Account Manager to start the Time & Labor enablement process.

Bullhorn One's Time & Labor functionality provides a robust time interpretation engine and time management capabilities in Bullhorn One.

While all time entry remains in Bullhorn Time & Expense (BTE), the interpretation of that time and the ability to manage timesheets exists in the Bullhorn One ATS. This unified experience allows you to do more of your administration work in a single system, saving you time.

With Time & Labor you can:

  • Create configurable rules for time interpretation that allow you to meet the complex needs of your customers.
  • Streamline your workflows with processes in a single platform.
  • Experience enhanced data visibility, allowing users to access information quickly.
  • Access valuable Time & Expense data in the ATS.

Is Time & Labor Right for You?

Time & Labor has a few prerequisites that determine if its functionality is a good fit for your business. In order to fully utilize Time & Labor functionality you must use both Locations and Rate Cards.

In addition to Location and Rate Card requirements, Time & Labor may not be a good fit for your business if your processes involves the following:

  • Extensive creation of manual Pay and Bill Transactions. The Time & Labor Engine cannot re-interpret Pay and Bill Transactions that have been created after a timesheet has been evaluated.
  • The majority of your clients rely heavily on disputing timesheets in Bullhorn Time & Expense.
    • Time & Laborcan't currently process timesheets that have transactions that have been disputed by a client-contact. For more information, see Modifying Time.
    • Time & Laborcan process timesheets that have been rejected by a client-contact. Our current recommendation is to encourage your clients to use the Reject Hours process instead. For more information, see Rejecting Timesheets.

For additional information on Time & Labor functionality, see the Time & Labor section.
