Late Time Entry
Assignment start and end dates determine the period of time in which a Placement can enter time via WTE. Late Time Entry can be configured per group to allow time entry for a number of weeks after an assignment ends. Time can not be entered outside of the assignment start and end dates, but Late Time Entry allows employees the ability to go back and enter time for the assignment after the end date has past. The most commonly set time for Late Time Entry is 3 - 4 weeks.

Late Time Entry Behavior
Late Time Entry is applicable to behavior in Web Time Entry (WTE) and the Time Management Console (TMC).
-
Web Time Entry: Allows employees to go back the number of weeks configured in Late Time Entry to enter time.
Late Time Entry is set at 5 weeks. A WTE employee forgot to enter time and it's been 3 weeks since their assignment end date. They can still go into WTE to enter the time since the 5 weeks has not passed.
-
Time Management Console: Determines how long employees show as active in the TMC after their assignment has ended. Employees are deactivated in the TMC after the Late Time Entry time period has passed.
