Manage Shift Differential

Overview

Shift Differential (Shift Diff) refers to a difference in pay rate to employees for work performed during a certain schedule or shift. Shift Diff is most commonly calculated for employees working overnight shifts or weekend shifts. Bullhorn Time & Expense allows differential to be managed by the difference in dollar amount per hour or by difference in percentage per hour. Shift Diff is applied by site and department worked.

Any employee working in a specific site and department during the defined time frame will receive the differential rate as configured.
