Presentation View Error: Down for Maintenance

Necessary configuration if Presentations is set to a Private Sharing Model.

Reviewing a generated Presentation could throw a 'Down for Maintenance' error.

This error presents itself when Objects have a Private Sharing Model. To resolve the error, a Sharing Rule has to be created; the necessary setup of the Sharing Rule is below. This Sharing Rule most likely needs to be address on Contact and Presentation Objects.

Setting Up a Sharing Rule

• You will need to create a Public Group with the Presentation Site Guest User as a member. The Presentation Site Guest User is normally the Career Site User.

  • Label = Site Guest User

  • Description = Allows Presentation Site Guest User to access/view generated Presentations

  • Rule Type = Based on Record Owner

  • Owned by Members of = Public Groups & All Internal Users

  • Share with = Public Groups & Group you Created above

  • Access Level = Read/Write
