Will the Open Source Career Portal work on my website?

The Open Source Career Portal (OSCP) was designed to work with a number of different website hosts. Your Web Host will need to be able to serve HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JSON files. If you are unsure if your website supports these capabilities, please contact your Web Host or Web Developer.

You will also need access to your website's "Host Control Panel" (also known as a Control Panel or cPanel), where you, or a Web Developer, will need to upload the files into a directory to display on your site. Alternatively, you can upload the files using a File Transfer Protocol client (FTP).

  • Check out the sidebar on our Github page to view the different ways the OSCP can be uploaded to your website and for assistance to do so.

What should I do if my Web Host, such as Wix, does not provide Control Panel or FTP Access?

It's still possible to get the OSCP working on your website! The Open Source Career Portal will need to be hosted by a Web Host that offers the capabilities listed above. Once that is done, the OSCP can be placed within an iFrame on your site.

Please view the Open Source Career Portal article if you have any additional questions.
