Overview

With your Open Source Career Portal (OSCP) configured and uploaded to your website, you're now ready to begin publishing jobs to it!

This article will cover:

Publishing Jobs

Jobs sent to Indeed must also be published to your career portal.

If the job is already on your career portal, you'll need to republish it after selecting the Indeed checkbox.

  1. Navigate to the job you want to publish and click the Actions button.
  2. Select Publish.
    • The Publish Job screen will now open.
  3. Add a Description to the job.
  4. Include a Published Category and a Published Contact Recruiter.
    • Published Category: The category that applicants can filter on using your job portal. Categories are setup under Menu > Admin > Categories.
    • Published Contact Recruiter: The user that will receive email notifications when applicants apply.
  5. If you want to send your job to Indeed for syndication, select the Indeed checkbox.
    • You must have the Indeed Syndication set up to send your jobs to Indeed.
      • When publishing a job to Indeed, details including your corporation name are sent over to Indeed in an XML feed. Indeed matches up the corporation name from Bullhorn with their clients on their end. If there is no paid account for US customers, Indeed ignores the jobs from the feed. While US customers require a paid Indeed integration, this is not required for Australian clients.
      • When a candidate applies to a job, Indeed uses the public API to create a web response in Bullhorn, and they'll include a source of 'Indeed' on the candidate record.
  6. Click the Publish button.

Your job will be published to your Open Source Career Portal immediately.

  • Jobs sent to Indeed are subject to review by them and must meet their posting guidelines. If approved, it may take up to four hours for the job to show on Indeed.
