Streamlining Compliance Across ATS, Automation, and Talent Platform
Bullhorn's Credentialing feature provides a cohesive and integrated solution for managing candidate credentials from job application to placement. Credentials include all forms, credentials, and skills checklists. By leveraging the ATS, Automation, and Talent Platform, Bullhorn ensures that all credentialing tasks are completed efficiently, reducing compliance risks and improving the overall candidate experience. This streamlined process not only saves time, but also ensures that candidates are always ready to hit the ground running with all necessary credentials in place.
How Credentialing Works Across Bullhorn Platforms
Bullhorn's Credentialing system leverages the power of three key components: the ATS, Automation, and Talent Platform. Each plays a vital role in ensuring that candidate credentials are managed efficiently from job creation to placement and beyond.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Bullhorn's ATS serves as the central hub where credential requirements are defined and tracked throughout the candidate journey.
- Credentialing V2: Enabled in the ATS to allow for a seamless flow of requirements from job creation to placement, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Compliance Manager: Provides an organized view of each candidate’s credentialing progress, utilizing status settings to keep the process transparent and easy to manage. Compliance Manager focuses Placement Requirements
.
- Dynamic Match: Automatically matches a candidate’s existing credentials with job and placement requirements, increasing the speed from placement to cleared to start.
Once a recruiter initiates a submission and moves a candidate to placement, the ATS automatically transitions job credential requirements into placement requirements. This ensures that all necessary credentials are tracked throughout the candidate’s assignment.
Bullhorn Automation
Bullhorn Automation drives the credentialing process by applying job-specific credential requirements and automating important notifications.
- Job Credential
Requirements: When a new job is created in the ATS, credential requirements automatically flow from the company record to the job. Bullhorn Automation can be further utilized to apply specific credentials to jobs that meet certain criteria, ensuring all necessary requirements are attached from the start.
- Candidate Alerts: As recruiters move candidates through various statuses, Bullhorn Automation triggers alerts to notify candidates when they need to create or update their Talent Platform profiles and complete any required credentialing tasks. This keeps candidates on track and reduces manual follow-up.
- Expiring Credentials: Bullhorn Automation can also be used to monitor credential expiration dates and notify both recruiters and candidates when credentials are nearing expiration. This proactive approach helps maintain compliance and ensures that candidates remain eligible for placement.
The automation component significantly reduces the manual effort involved in managing credentials, allowing recruiters and credentialing specialists to focus on higher-value tasks.
Talent Platform
The Talent Platform is the central location where candidates manage their credentialing tasks, ensuring they meet all job and placement requirements. These requirements will be automatically sent to the Candidate if they are set up in Talent Platform:
- Candidate Interaction: Candidates use the Talent Platform to interact with and manage their credentialing tasks.
- Task Management: Notifications, triggered by Bullhorn Automation or directly from recruiters, or from Talent Platform, prompt candidates to complete their credentialing tasks within the Talent Platform.
- Credential Submission: Once tasks are completed, credentials are sent back to the ATS with a "Needs Review" status. Recruiters or credentialing specialists can then verify and update the status to "Current."
- These statuses can be customized.
- Clarity and Ease: The Talent Platform provides candidates with a clear understanding of credentialing requirements and a straightforward process to complete and submit them.
