User Roles
Overview
Each
user is assigned a role to define responsibilities and outline which tools are accessible. In many cases, the role to which a user is assigned will closely reflect the role the user fills outside of .- creates standard roles based on recommended and proven settings.

User Roles
Super User Access
Super Users have the highest level of access to functions in
.Most Super User roles are configured with the following:
- Manage user roles
- Manage access groups
- Manage users
- Close payroll
- View and edit time cards
- View and trigger email communication to employees and clients
- Adjust configuration of client bound email
- Approve time on behalf of clients
- Resolve disputes
- Run/schedule reports
Payroll Access
Payroll Users typically have the second highest level of access to functions in
.Most Payroll Access roles allow the following:
- Close payroll
- View and edit time cards
- View and trigger email communication to employees and clients
- Approve time on behalf of client
- Resolve disputes
- Run/schedule reports
Branch Administrator Access
Branch Administrators usually have the third highest level of access to functions in
.Branch Administrator roles typically allow access to these functions:
- View and edit time cards
- View and trigger email communication to employees and clients
- Resolve disputes
- Run reports
Client Access
Clients are normally set with a more limited level of access to functions in
.Client access normally allows:
- View time cards
- Approve time
- Run reports
View Only
This role allows limited access to functions. True to its name, users assigned to this role are typically only allowed to view information and run reports. Time card edits, approval, and other changes are typically not available for users of this type.
