Position Sync Status Definitions

Position Sync Statuses refer to the lifecycle of the position in VMS Sync. This differs from the Req Status, which is the status from the VMS. Position Sync statuses include:

• Complete: The position has been processed from the VMS into our system. If it's not an ignored position, it has also been added into your ATS.
• Failed: Something went wrong grabbing the position from the VMS, processing it in Sync, or uploading it to your ATS.
• New: The position has been added to the Sync system through the reqlist, email notification, or user sync request. It has not begun processing from the VMS yet.
• Retry: The position failed and has two more chances to work end to end.
• Ruleignored: A customer request rule has told our system to not upload this position to the ATS.
• Unmapped: The position is waiting for you to map either the company or skills associated with this position.
• Update: The position is being updated by Sync.
• Uploading: The position is being processed and pushed to your ATS.
• Resync: An end to end sync of this position was requested. The position has been added to the resync queue.
