This article explains how to add candidates to Bullhorn from your External Source search results. For help with building your search, see Searching with External Source.
In the External Source search results, you’ll see a tile for each candidate found on the job boards. Each tile displays an overview of the candidate’s details. Click VIEW DETAILS at the bottom of a tile to display more information.
If you see a candidate you like the look of, you can view their whole CV and add them to Bullhorn.
View Candidate
Click the VIEW CANDIDATE button to open a slideout showing all the candidate’s information from the job board.
Clicking VIEW CANDIDATE use a credit for most job boards.
Viewing candidates from CV-Library does not use a job board credit, but the phone number and email address are hidden by default. You’ll need to click VIEW CONTACT DETAILS to unhide them, which uses a job board credit.
To learn more about credit usage, see What Uses a Job Board Credit?
To view a different candidate while the View Candidate slideout is open, click the binoculars icon against the candidate's name.
Add to Bullhorn
Click the ADD TO BULLHORN button on a tile or slideout to parse the candidate into your Bullhorn database.
Clicking ADD TO BULLHORN uses a job board credit. To learn more about credit usage, see What Uses a Job Board Credit?
If a candidate already exists in Bullhorn, you’ll see the “candidate already exists” screen (the same screen as when you parse in a duplicate resume).
Candidate Actions
Once a candidate has been added to Bullhorn, you’ll see an Actions dropdown on their tile in the search results. This allows you to take action on this candidate in Bullhorn, such as adding a note, a task, or a shortlist.
