3rd Party Auto-Match
When a job reaches the Match Candidate step, users can choose to use a third-party algorithm instead of Bullhorn Automation's Semantic Match algorithm if it better fits their needs. This option allows for greater flexibility in matching candidates to jobs.
Workflow Overview
- A job enters the auto-match step in a Automation.
- Automation makes an HTTP request to the 3rd party’s specified endpoint.
- The payload includes the job ATS ID, job title, and customer-defined key match settings.
- The 3rd party returns a list of ATS Candidate IDs.
- The auto-match step then retrieves the candidates based on those ATS Candidate IDs and the step will execute according to the Automation settings.
Adding Automation
When adding an Automation to the Job Entity to Match Candidates the information added in the Match Candidates Webhook will be used to create the list of candidates.
Users will set match preferences as part of the Match Candidates automation step.
Note: By default, the Match Candidate step will search across all candidates.
Clients can use the Only match candidates that are part of the following list option to match jobs against a subset of candidates. This is helpful in excluding candidates on assignment, inactive, or otherwise not likely to be an ideal match.
