Smart Tokens
Smart Tokens in Bullhorn Automation enhance communication by dynamically merging data into emails, even when that data isn’t stored in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This feature enables messages to be sent from individuals not directly linked to recipients in the ATS, creating a more personalized experience. Smart Tokens are particularly useful for directing branch-specific feedback, customizing candidate communication, and setting up client contact notifications.
Creating Smart Tokens involves selecting an entity type, defining the token content, and assigning it to specific records. Generic Tokens can display custom links or text, while User Tokens dynamically include user-related details like names, emails, and titles. Once created, Smart Tokens appear as merge tags in the email builder, allowing automation to deliver contextually relevant messages.
By implementing Smart Tokens, organizations can streamline communication, ensure accuracy, and add a tailored touch to their automation processes.
