Understanding Notifications

Overview

Notifications are pop ups that appear whenever an Employee submits time or a Manager approves time. Once accepted, they also appear on the Timesheet next to the electronic signature. This lesson illustrates how the pop up appears to Employees and Managers and how it is saved on the Timesheet.

Employee Notifications

Employee notifications appear when the employee submits their time.

Manager Notifications

Manager notifications appear when the Manager approves time. The Manager must accept the notification in order for the time to be approved.

  • The Manager Notification also appears when the Manager approves time from their email.

Notifications on Timesheets

Once accepted, notifications appear on the bottom of the timesheet next to the applicable electronic signature.
