What is PowerSearch?

PowerSearch is Jobscience's proprietary search engine. It has the ability to return an unlimited number of Contacts by searching your entire database of Contacts and Candidates.

PowerSearch now supports the addition of custom fields. These fields can be short text, picklists, date, or number fields. Once configured, the custom fields will allow you to search through your data and filter down your search results.

The custom fields can come from the Contact object, as well as objects that are related to the Contact object. For example, the Job Order field from the Application object can be used, as well as the Degree field from the Education History object.

A successful search of any type creates a List View of Contacts. At this point you may select one or more Contacts and:

• Add tags that better categorize them. See Adding Tags to a Candidate.

• Add them to Short Lists that associate them with other similar Contacts. See Adding to a Short List.
