Company Mapping Features

This article outlines the features available for accounts and credentials within their respective menus in VMS Sync Admin Tools.

Account Features

Access aredential features by navigating to Accounts, selecting the account you want to see the features for, and selecting View Account. The account's features are available under the Features section in the Details tab.

Feature	Description
Company auto-create	This allows VMS Sync to create a new Bullhorn Company record if a match isn't found via Company Mapping. This isn't supported with the following features: Disable Company Auto-Mapping Use Company Worksites
Advanced Company Lookup Enabled	Same as above. Use this instead of Company auto-create.
Company Status Black List	This restricts ATS Company results on the Company Mapping Dashboard by ATS Status. Archive, DNU
Company Status White List	This allows ATS Company results on the Company Mapping Dashboard by ATS Status. It's commonly used in combination with the Company Status Black List feature. You can leave blank to allow all ATS Status values not listed in Company Status Black List.
Custom Company Mapping Fields	This display additional ATS Company fields on the Company Mapping Dashboard.
Disable Company Auto-Mapping	This prevents VMS Sync from auto-linking VMS positions to ATS companies. When enabled, you must link all VMS-ATS Company pairs manually. These pairs will show as Confirmed Links on the Linked Companies tab of the Company Mapping Dashboard.
Use Company Worksites	This populates the Company Mapping Dashboard with Bullhorn locations instead of companies. It requires company mapping.
Company Fuzzy Auto Link	This leverages additional geolocation address match parameters for attempting to auto link companies. Currently, this is just the combination of googlePlaceId and zipCode as extra parameters.

Credential Features

Access credential features by navigating to Credentials, selecting the credential you want to see the features for, and selecting View Credential. The credential's features are available under the Features section in the Details tab.

Feature	Description
Add Field to Company Name	This adds a VMS field/value to VMS Company Name. Modified VMS Company Name will display on the Company Mapping Dashboard. This is useful for VMSs that list positions from multiple facilities under a single company name.
Bypass Company Mapping	This adds a Company and contact to the credential. It adds a location to the credential if Worksites is on. It requires Company Mapping Enabled for account Compatible with Worksites if supported. Assign to the position if company isn't mapped.
Use ATS Company	This adds a Location to the credential. Set this if you want Work Location default to be ignored and set to BLANK when delivered to the ATS. Assign company only to the position if company isn't mapped. Requires Company Mapping Enabled and Worksites for account Requires Bypass Company Mapping feature on the credential
Force Basic Company Lookup	This disables Account Features Advanced Company Lookup and Company Mapping for a credential. This is useful for customers who want all positions for a credential to bypass Company Mapping/Auto-Create.
