Admin: Create Power Note Subject List for ATS v2 Stages

Before you can create a Power Note subject list for ATS v2 stages, you must complete the Power Notes Subject Configurability Steps.

Admin users have the option of dynamically associating a list of Power Note Subjects to ATS stages, when Power Notes are created using the ATS ActionClosed When used in ATS or Search and Match UI, one of multiple actions available after user has selected a sub-set of Candidates menu.

  1. Click the nine dots icon.
  2. In Search apps and items, enter "Power Notes Subject Configuration".
  3. Next to your desired object, click the dropdown and select Edit.
  4. In the Edit popup, you will see the following fields:
    1. Power Notes Subject Config Name (Read Only): This is the name given to the Power Notes Subject Configuration during the Power Note Subject creation.
      1. For steps on Power Note Subject creation, see Create Power Notes Subject Records.
    2. Power Notes Subject (Read Only): This is the subject that will be automatically displayed in the Power Note Subject dropdown when a Power Note is created from the Object specified below.
      • Assigned during the Power Note Subject creation.
      • If a link is displayed here, you will have to click it to see what the subject will be.
    3. Object (Required): This is the object this Power Note Subject Configuration applies to. For Subject List for ATS v2 Stages, you need to select Application V2Closed A BH4SF custom object introduced when new data model ATSv2 was added to the core product.
    4. Locations (Required): Select the record(s) the Power Note will be created from. For Subject List for ATS v2 Stages, you need to select CandidateATS and JobATS.
    5. Field APIClosed API, or Application Programming Interface, is used by customers to create custom career portals or to take advantage of Data Mirror/DataMart. Bullhorn prefers to use REST API. Name (Required): Define which field of the specified object above is referenced.
      • For example, Stage.
    6. Field Values (Required): Defines what value from the field defined above in Field API Name needs to be matched in order for this subject to be used.
      • For example, the Stage name.
    7. Is Default (Optional): Select this checkbox if you would like this Power Note Subject to be the default subject displayed when Power Notes are created from the object specified above.
      • For example, users that create a Power Note from an Account record will see Call as the default Subject.
    8. Is Power Share Default (Optional): Select this checkbox if you want this Power Notes Subject set as the default subject for Power Share Notes created from Power Notes.
    9. Is Active (Optional): Select this checkbox if you want this configuration to be active.
  5. Click Save.

This configuration defines that if a user creates a Power Note using the ATS Action menu and the CandidateClosed A person looking for a job.
