I-9 Authorized Representative SMS Notification Configuration
When sending the Onboarding request, recruiters are able to select a workflow for who is responsible for completing Section 2 of the I-9 Form I-9 to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. form. If the recruiter selects Applicant
(or Candidate or Talent) Customer talent - the person applying or hired for the job Assigned, the applicant will be responsible for assigning their own authorized representative as part of the Section 1 process. When this option is selected, an additional section will be added to the bottom of the I-9 Section 1 form where the employee is required to provide the name of their authorized representative as well as either their email address or mobile phone number.
If a mobile phone number is provided, the authorized representative will receive an SMS message requesting they complete Section 2 of the candidate’s I-9.
Configuration
The following configurations can be set within the Configuration experience, as an Administrator-type user:
- Navigate to Configuration > Settings > System Settings
- On System Settings navigate to Form
Any document that needs to be completed and signed by a Candidate I-9 & E-Verify
