Company Settings Tab in Bullhorn Automation

The Company Settings tab in Bullhorn Automation Settings allows administrators to configure global settings for their organization. This tab contains several key configuration areas, including General Settings, Email Branding, Email Footer Settings, Engagement Branding, and Calendar Settings. These settings affect how automation functions, how branded communications appear, and how users interact with engagement tools.

General Settings

The General Settings card displays basic account details and regional preferences, including:

  • BHA Cluster: Identifies the Bullhorn Automation cluster your account is hosted on.

  • Account Name: Displays your organization's Bullhorn Automation account name.

  • Time Zone: Determines the default time zone for scheduled automations.

  • Country: Defines the organization's primary country, which may influence formatting settings.

  • Preferred Date Format: Sets the default date format (for example, MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY).

Email Branding

The Email Branding card controls the look and feel of automated emails sent through Bullhorn Automation. These settings maintain a consistent brand identity across all communications.

  • Logo Upload: Upload your organization's logo for use in automated emails.

  • Primary Color: Define the primary brand color for email styling.

  • Home Page URL: Set the homepage URL included in emails.

  • Job Page URL: Specify the URL where recipients can browse job openings.

  • Contact Us URL: Provide a direct link for recipients to contact your organization.

Email Footer Settings

The Email Footer Settings card configures the unsubscribe footer included in outgoing emails. This section helps you comply with global email regulations and gives recipients clear information on why they are receiving messages.

Email footers must include your company name, physical address, and the reason the recipient is receiving the email. Incomplete footers can affect email deliverability and create compliance issues.

Engagement Branding

The Engagement Branding card customizes the chat widget that appears to candidates and contacts, creating a branded experience for engagement interactions. To access these settings, go to Settings > Company Settings > Engagement Branding and click Edit.

  • Header Color: Enter the header banner color for the chat widget.

  • Header Text Color: Enter the color for the text in the chat widget header.

  • Header Focus Outline Color: Set the focus outline color for the chat widget header.

  • Button Color: Set the color for interactive buttons in the chat widget.

  • Focus Outline Color: Set the focus outline color for interactive elements.

  • Chat Header Icon: Choose whether to display a robot icon or no icon in the chat header.

  • Chat Header Text: Enter the name displayed in the chat widget header.

  • Default Candidate Chat: Choose which chat displays to a known candidate returning to your website.

  • Default Sales Contact Chat: Choose which chat displays to a known client contact returning to your website.

  • Default New Visitor Chat: Choose which chat displays to new visitors to your website, or to existing contacts on a new device.

You cannot use merge tags, dynamic jobs, or any other personalization in New Visitor Chats because no stored information is available for new visitors.

If you do not select a Default New Visitor Chat, Default Sales Contact Chat, or Default Candidate Chat, no inbound chats will display to people visiting your website. Outbound chats will still work as normal.
