Build Suppression Lists

When placed in a suppression list, entities won't run through the automation even if they meet the criteria for the main automation list.

This won't work if your Automation Settings are set to allow records to Continue through Automation if they no longer meet the enrollment criteria.

You build a suppression list the same way as you build other lists, by using one of the following methods:

• Create a List via Advanced Search
  • This is considered best practice as you can test out different list criteria before saving and syncing your list. See How to Optimize Lists to learn more.
• Create a List via the Lists Page
• Create a List During Automation Enrollment

Once you've made the list, you can add that list to an automation as a suppression list.
