Manage Contacts
This article covers a range of options for managing contacts in .
Add a Contact to Bullhorn Automation
syncs candidates and sales contacts automatically from . This sync only works one way, so you can't create contacts/candidates directly in and have them appear in the ATS.
Check a Contact’s Mailable Status
Follow these steps to check a contact’s mailable status:
- Navigate to the contact’s profile.
 - Scroll down and click Additional Details.
 - Check the Mailable Status field. If they've unsubscribed, opted out, or had an email bounce, this will be set to No.
 
Unsubscribe a Contact from Emails
Follow these steps to unsubscribe a contact from emails:
- Navigate to the contact/candidate record in .
 - Select the Bullhorn Automation tab.
 - Select the Stop Sending Bullhorn Automation Emails option.
 - After selecting this option, they will no longer receive emails sent via , even if they're part of a list.
 
Merge Duplicate Records
If there are duplicate candidates or contacts in , merge the records together in . The duplicate will be removed from after a manual sync or standard hourly sync. These records will also be removed from the preset Duplicates list.

Remove a Contact from Bullhorn Automation
To remove a Contact from , simply archive their record in .
If the record only exists in and not in , use’s import tool and set the IsDeleted column to TRUE. This will remove the contact from all lists they're associated with.
