Adding Synonyms

When adding a new keyword group into SourceBreaker, try to think of as many different synonyms of the term as possible. We recommend adding the below to each of your keyword groups as a starting point:

  • Plurals, both with and without an apostrophe
  • Elongating the word - e.g. "Engineer OR Engineering"
  • Can the word or phrase be abbreviated and can you use punctuation? e.g. "Body Mass Index OR BMI OR B.M.I OR B-M-I"
  • Misspellings - Think of as many common misspellings of the word as you can. e.g "Engineer OR Eginer OR Enginner OR Engneer OR Enginneer"
  • Reversing the job title. - e.g. "Engineering Manager OR Manager - Engineer"
  • Splitting words - e.g. "Fullstack OR Full Stack OR Full-Stack"
  • Are there any other synonyms of the word or phrase? e.g. "Manager OR Leader OR Supervisor OR Head Of"
