Track Notes in Bullhorn Analytics
Adding Notes in Bullhorn ATS is a great way to retain important details about the interactions you have within your network. Notes are made against records in your database and need to include the following information:
-
Comments: The content of your note.
-
About: The record your note is about.
-
Note Action: Allows you to capture the "action" for your note. For example, Client Visit.
You can set up your Analytics system to track different note types/actions and have them show against different metrics. Once a note is added in Bullhorn ATS, as long as the note action is mapped into Analytics, it will show in the relevant note metrics.
Mapping Note Actions into Analytics
Note actions must be mapped in by Support before you can use them in metrics. If you modify an existing note action, or if you have added a new note action that you would like to track, contact the Analytics Support team to map it in.
Using Notes in Metrics
Metrics based on notes are very flexible. In addition to setting up one note action to feed one metric, you could also have two or three note actions feed a single metric. You could set a note action to feed a metric only when logged against certain record types (e.g. leads / contacts / candidates).
If you have the Enterprise edition of Analytics, you can create and edit your own metrics. For all other editions, contact Support for help setting up new metrics.
-
Tracking Calls: See Track Calls in Bullhorn Analytics for more information.
-
Tracking workflows on candidates or contacts: For example, tracking a note added when a contract is sent for a client contact, and another note added when a contract is signed.
-
Tracking emails: While Analytics cannot report on emails directly from the ATS, if your ATS is set up to add a note when emails are sent or received, you can create metrics over these.
