Scheduling with the Calendar Integration

Once activated, a calendar link can be shared with candidates and sales contacts through automation or manually with any external user via email or SMS. When the recipient clicks the link, they are directed to the booking page configured under customer settings, where a pop-up window displays the calendar owner’s availability. Candidates and contacts can manually select days to see which times the calendar owner has available and select the slot that works best for them.

If the calendar owner’s calendar link is not active, the calendar of the backup owner per the Owner Assignment RulesClosed Rules which can be created to assign the most suitable owner to each contact. This ensures that every contact is managed by the right person. will display instead.

Autoschedule

For a streamlined experience, they are also provided an option to sign into their email to automatically see times both they and the calendar owner have available. Selecting this option will prompt the candidate or contact to select the email account to use for auto-scheduling.

Autoschedule prompts users to select an account to continue with to Nylas Scheduler. Nylas is the 3-party provider powering the Bullhorn Automation calendar feature.

After allowing access, candidates and sales contacts will automatically be able to see times with shared availability vs times with conflicts.

After selecting a date and time, are be prompted to Confirm the appointment. They are required to fill in their name and email address (both will be pre-populated for them) and click Submit.

After clicking submit, both the candidate or sales contact and the calendar owner will receive an email notification confirming the appointment. The meeting will also be automatically added to their calendar.
