Linking Contacts to Sources

Contacts can be linked to Sources. Sources can be automatically assigned to a new Contact in a few different ways; otherwise, manually assign a Source to the Contact so you can accurately report on where Contacts are being found, and to help in generating ROI reports on specific events, landing pages or advertising.

• Automatic Source: Microsite - Any Contacts that are created through the form on default Microsite are tagged with the Source = Microsite.

• Mass assign Source: Resume Power Parsing tool - When using the Resume Power bulk parser, you may choose a Source to assign your batch of resumes to. To view or take action on the resulting list of new Contacts in the system, go to the Sources tab, find your Source, and view the Contacts related list.
