About Chatbot

The Chatbot combines a number of Bullhorn Automation features to offer a complete 24/7 digital recruiter experience. It is accessed through your website with the chat flow (interaction types/questions asked) depending on the particular journey a candidate or client has taken to get to that point.

All chat flows can be custom-created just like Surveys, and blueprints are provided for common use cases. Chatbot provides more touch points for candidates and clients.

Main Features

Chatbot's main features include:

  • Branding: Name and brand the Chatbot to match the look and feel of your website for a consistent experience.
  • Keyword branching: Chatbot selects the next question based on keywords used in the previous free-text answers instead of preselected questions or answers.
  • Jump to chat: Chatbot jumps from one chat flow to another based on logic, avoiding repeating questions.
  • Recruiter handoff: Trigger the start of text message conversations via Bullhorn Messaging in real-time with a visitor’s recruiter or owner.
  • AI Job MatchClosed Uses AI to match Jobs to Candidates.: Use the AI Job Match functionality to display jobs that match the candidate within the chat.

  • Lead capture: Capture information from new visitors to your website.
  • Refresh data: Capture up-to-date information and sync back in real-time.
  • Application: Have people answer knockout or pre-screen questions.
  • Check-ins: Have candidates provide a place to check in on day one.
  • Feedback: Capture general and NPSClosed Net Promoter Score. A metric used to measure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and enthusiasm.-style feedback at any time.
  • Referrals: Acquire referrals from happy candidates and notify teams.

How it Works

There are three ways that Chatbot works

  1. Outbound active interaction: Just like a survey, chats can be included as links in emails and SMS.

    A candidate gets added to your database and is sent a screening chat via email and/or SMS.

  2. Known Website Visitors: If a candidate or client has interacted with a BH Automation previously, (and visited the website from a known device) there is an option to have a chat appear on the website. The person would also be able to see their previous chat history.

    A candidate comes to your website a few weeks after interacting with a BH Automation email. A chat pops up asking them how they can be helped. The chat provides options for them to quickly view matching jobs or update their information directly back into your ATS.

  1. Unknown Website Visitors: If someone brand new or a known candidate on a different device visits the website, they are presented with an unknown visitor chat. This chat has limited features because details about the person interacting with it are unknown. A full history of the chat interaction is available via notification or they can also be automatically exported via CSV file.

    A new lead comes to your website and you capture information about who the person is, whether they are a candidate or client, what you can help them with, and any other necessary information to route them to a member of your team.
