Publishing Jobs Manually to LinkedIn

Overview

This article contains directions for synching (manually publishing) Bullhorn jobs directly to LinkedIn.

  • You can only publish one job at a time.

  • LinkedIn will only accept one published job per Bullhorn ATS job ID.

  • Web responses will become visible within the respective job.

Once a job is closed OR is no longer published (isPublic is false) in Bullhorn, the integration automatically closes the job in LinkedIn.

Publishing a Job to LinkedIn

  1. On the job record, from the Select an Action drop-down, select Publish.

  2. On the left-hand side of the Publish screen, select LinkedIn.

  3. Complete the required fields. There is a Copy Details from Bullhorn Job option that copies information into the form.

  4. Click Publish.

    • When publishing a job, you receive immediate notification of the job being sent to LinkedIn.

    • LinkedIn does not immediately post jobs, but includes them in a listed state. For the current state of the publishing, please go back to the job record and select Action > LinkedIn Job Status.

The job is published.

Updating a Job on LinkedIn

  1. Open the Job and click Actions > Publish.

  2. On the left-hand side of the Publish screen, select LinkedIn.

    The last saved published record displays.

  3. Make any necessary changes.

  4. At the bottom of the page, select Republish and then confirm selection.

The job is updated.

Removing a Job on LinkedIn

  1. Open the Job and click Actions > Publish.

  2. On the left-hand side of the Publish screen, select LinkedIn.

  3. At the bottom of the page, select Unpublish and then confirm selection.

The job is unpublished.
