Favorite Searches

Learn how to save and reuse a search on a list view.

Favoriting a search saves you time, since you don't have to rebuild it every time you need the same information. For example, if you're a manager who wants to see how many candidates each recruiter adds every week, you can build that search once and save it to run whenever you need it.

  • Private searches can only be accessed and run by the user who created them.

  • Public searches can be accessed and run by anyone in your company.

Favoriting a Search

  1. Go to the list view you want to favorite a search on.

  2. Click within the search box.

  3. Build your search, then click Search.

    • Add or remove any columns from your list before saving the search.

  4. Click the Favorites drop-down at the top of the list.

  5. Click Save this Search.

  6. Enter a name for your search.

  7. Set its visibility to Private (your eyes only) or Public (all users).

  8. If you selected Public, specify who can run the search — certain departments, specific users, or everyone.

  9. Click Save.

Rerun your search anytime by clicking the Favorites drop-down.

If you run a favorite search using a different column layout than the one it was saved with, Bullhorn prompts you to choose how to proceed.

Deleting a Favorite Search

Only the user who created a favorite search can delete it. To delete a favorite search, click the Favorites drop-down, then click the X next to the search you want to delete.
