Career Portal System Settings

The Career Portal is the public-facing job board where candidates can search for and apply to open positions. This article outlines the configuration options available to tailor the appearance and behavior of the portal to meet your business needs.

Core Settings

Disable Job Board

This is a legacy system setting. This configuration should be disabled for all clients. This whole section should be disabled for all clients

What it Does

Disables access to your job board entirely. When enabled, the job board is hidden, and candidates will no longer be able to view or apply to posted jobs.

Recommended For

Organizations that do not want to display jobs publicly or are managing applications through other channels.

Indeed Feed Integration

indeed_feed_include

What it Does

Automatically sends your publicly posted jobs to Indeed. When a candidate clicks on a job from Indeed, they are directed to register and apply through your Career Portal.

Recommended For

Increasing exposure for your open jobs through external job boards.

Hide Job Type

What it Does

Removes the job type (e.g., full-time, contract) from the job list and job detail pages.

Recommended For

Clients who prefer to keep employment types internal or present job roles more flexibly.

Dependency

The job board must be active.

Custom JavaScript Injection

What it Does

Allows you to inject custom JavaScript into the header or body of every job board page.

Use Cases

Adding analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), live chat tools, or custom tracking.

Show Location Info on Job Postings

What it Does

Displays the office location associated with each job posting, including name, address, and contact information.

Recommended For

Clients with multiple branches or physical locations.

Dependency

The job board must be active.

Custom Job Board Domain

What it Does

Updates the domain candidates are directed to for job applications.

Use Case: Branded URLs or vanity domains.

Effect

Also updates “Back to Job Portal” links and login redirect URLs.

Custom Job Not Found Message

Customizes the message shown if a candidate attempts to access a job that is no longer available.

Avionté Job Feed Integration

What it Does

Allows jobs to be imported from Avionté into the Talent Platform.

For clients using Avionté as their job source of truth.
