Engage System Settings

The Engage settings control how your organization manages communication and engagement with candidates after they've applied and while they are in process or placed. These configurations allow you to tailor notifications, surveys, and placement behaviors to match your workflows and candidate experience preferences.

Communication Settings

Disable Interview Email Notifications

Should be enabled for all. It is a legacy feature.

What it Does

Prevents candidates from receiving emails related to interview scheduling.

Use Case

When interviews are coordinated externally or via another system.

Effect

Candidates will not receive automated interview reminders or confirmations.

Disable Placement Notifications to Candidates

What it Does

Disables emails sent to candidates regarding placement events, including confirmations and start reminders.

Use Case

If you prefer to send placement communications manually.

Dependency

Must be used in conjunction with disable_job_placements.

Disable Placements Feature

What it Does

Removes the placements tab and associated functionality within the platform.

Use Case

For clients who manage placements in an external system or do not use placement tracking.

Survey and Feedback Settings

Mid-Assignment Survey Interval

Disable for all clients

What it Does

Sets how frequently candidates receive a feedback survey while on assignment.

Use Case

Collect ongoing feedback during long-term placements.

Value is set in days.

Survey Completion Message

Disable for all clients

Defines the standard message displayed after a candidate completes a survey.

“Thank you for your feedback!”

Survey Threshold Message

Disable for all clients

What it Does

Sets an alternate message to be shown if a candidate submits a score that meets or exceeds a defined threshold.

Use Case

Provide a more enthusiastic message for high scorers.

Survey Score Threshold

Establishes the minimum score that triggers the threshold message above.

A score of 8 or higher may be considered a high rating.

Personalization & Compliance

Enable Nickname (Alias) Prompt

What it Does

Displays a field where candidates can enter an alias or preferred name during application.

Use Case

Helpful for industries where candidates often use preferred names professionally.

This field is optional and not required.

You can also use this field to gather additional information as well i.e. Suffix. If leveraging this field, you can modify or change the verbiage in the translation section to display exactly what you want to capture.

Enable Privacy Policy Acceptance Modal

What it Does

Displays a modal requiring candidates to accept your organization’s privacy policy before continuing.

Use Case

Ensure compliance with regional privacy regulations.

Effect

Candidates who decline are logged out of the platform.

When enabled, you will also need to enter information into the Privacy Policy Content. Otherwise, it will present a blank pop-up to the candidates
