How Skill Mapping Works

When Sync parses a position from a VMS, it uses a multi-tiered process to rank keywords and context from select fields to assign a Med Type and Med Specialty to a VMS Sync position object.

You may have existing ATS data and established naming conventions for your categories, skills, and specialties. The Skill Mapping page gives you the flexibility to map Sync’s master list pairings to your unique ATS fields/values.

This lets Sync assign your selected ATS values to the position when uploading to the ATS.
