This article explains the screener engagement metrics available in Bullhorn Automation.

Additional screening insights are available in the Screening Dashboard in Bullhorn Analytics.

Accessing Screener Engagement Metrics

To view metrics for a screener engagement in Bullhorn Automation:

  1. Go to Engagements.

  2. Click Select Action beside the engagement you want to review.

  3. Select View Metrics.

Summary

The Summary page provides a high-level overview of your engagement’s performance, including Screener Stats and Screening Step metrics:

Screener Stats

This section helps you measure overall outreach performance from initial contact through to completion.

It includes the following metrics:

  • Started Rate and Completed Rate – Track candidate progression through the screening.

  • Emails Sent and Email Open Rate – Monitor how candidates are engaging with your email invitations.

  • Text Sent and Text Click Rate – Evaluate SMS delivery and engagement effectiveness.

  • Bounce Rate and Unsubscribe Rate – Identify delivery issues or recipient opt-out activity.

Screening Step

This section shows data specific to the AI screening portion of the engagement.

  • Started Rate – The percentage of candidates that began the screening.

  • Completed Rate – The percentage of candidates that completed the screening.

  • Average Duration (mm:ss) – The average time candidates spend completing the screening.

  • Successfully Answered – The percentage of questions answered by candidates.

  • Skipped – The percentage of questions candidates chose not to answer.

  • Follow-up Questions – Tracks when the screener dynamically generates additional questions based on candidate responses.

    These follow-up questions are not predefined in the job record but are created automatically alongside the standard screening questions.

Responses

The Responses page displays answers to any chat-based questions included in the screening.

Voice screening questions and responses are not currently included in the Responses metrics. They can be accessed in the screening summary, which can be added as a note to the submission or sent by email after a completed screening, depending on your screening settings.
