Using the Gmail Add-On
The Bullhorn for Gmail Add-On lets you manage Bullhorn tasks directly from Gmail without leaving your inbox. You can create candidates, add tasks and notes, attach files, and open existing records, all while reading an email.
To use the Gmail Add-On, you need to be logged into both Gmail and Bullhorn in the same browser. If you haven't installed the add-on yet, see Enabling the Gmail Add-On.
Log In to the Add-On
-
In the same browser, log into Bullhorn.
-
Open an email in Gmail and click the Bullhorn for Gmail Add-On (it appears in the right sidebar).

Click the Login button.
You're now logged in with your Bullhorn credentials. The add-on is ready to use.

Troubleshooting
Add-On Selects the Wrong Email
By default, the add-on selects the most recent email in a conversation thread. If you want to work with a specific email instead, turn off Conversation View in your Gmail settings: go to Settings > toggle Conversation View to Off. This lets you use the add-on with any individual email.
Links are Opening in Multiple Windows
If you're using Chrome and links from the add-on are opening in multiple windows instead of the same window, adjust your Chrome pop-up settings to allow Bullhorn links to open as expected.
-
Click the Menu icon (three dots) in the upper-right corner of Chrome and select Settings.
-
Scroll to the bottom and click Show advanced settings.
-
Under Privacy and security, click Site settings.
-
Click Pop-ups and redirects.
-
Look for any URLs containing "bullhornstaffing.com" in the Allow list and remove them by clicking the X icon next to each one.
-
Close the Settings page.
Links from the add-on should now open in the same window.
