Using the Bullhorn for Email Gadget in Outlook

An email integration is required to use the Bullhorn for Email gadget.
Accessing the Bullhorn for Email Gadget in Outlook
- In your web browser, log in to Bullhorn.
- In Outlook, select the Bullhorn for Email icon.
- Log in to the gadget using your Bullhorn credentials.
You are now logged into the Bullhorn for Email gadget.
Using the Bullhorn for Email Gadget in Outlook
Select an email within your inbox and click the Bullhorn for Email icon to access the gadget. The gadget will search your database for the sender's email address to locate the associated record.
Reviewing Record Information
The header of the gadget displays information about the associated record in Bullhorn. Click on a hyperlink to automatically open the record in your Bullhorn window.
The footer of the gadget displays different information depending on the type of record you're viewing:
- Candidate - Resume and recent notes.
- Contact - Open jobs at the contact's company and recent notes.
- Lead - Recent notes.
Handling Attachments
Select the email body or an attachment to parse it into Bullhorn as a new or existing record.
- New record - Opens a new tab in your Bullhorn window so you can review the information before adding the record.
- Existing record - Opens a new tab in your Bullhorn window so you can confirm which record you want to parse over.
You also have the ability to add attachments to the Files tab for existing records.
Where to Find the Bullhorn for Email Gadget
The Bullhorn for Email Gadget in Microsoft email environments has changed to a vertical layout. When the gadget is expanded, it opens as a slide-out on the right side of your screen.
