Running the Recruiting Manager Dashboard

  • You can use the Recruiting Manager Dashboard to look at recruiting activity for the month. This dashboard comprises six reports:
  • Starts/Ends - Current Month/Year
  • Submission Ratios - Last 30 Days
  • Efficiency Ratios - Last 30 Day
  • Timing - Last 30 Day
  • YTD Department Leaderboard
  • YTD Recruiter Leaderboard

Bullhorn displays activity for users who report to you, and whose primary department is the same as your primary or secondary (additional) department display.

  • Example: Sam is the recruiting manager and his primary department is Boston and his secondary departments are Chicago and New York. Rob reports to Sam and his primary department is Chicago. Sharon also reports to Sam and her primary department is Dallas. Rob's data is included in the dashboard but Sharon's is not given that her primary department does not match Sam's primary or secondary departments.

Bullhorn is pulling data based on one of the following:

  • Candidate Owner - Activity is credited to the person who owns the candidate (regardless of who created the activity)
  • Candidate Submitter - Activity is credited to the person who added the candidate submission (regardless of who owns the candidate)

Note: In order for these reports to pull accurate data, you must both define the reporting structure and target goals for all users. For instructions, view the following:

The following tables describe each report. Titles may differ depending on your company's terminology.


Starts/Ends

Chart displaying placements starting and ending this month, for each of your primary and secondary departments.

Column

Description

Starts

Number of placements added this month with a current or prior status of Approved, a start date between the first day of the current month and today.

  • For contract placements:
    • A bill rate and pay rate greater than zero
    • An end date filled out
  • For permanent placements:
    • A fee % greater than zero
    • A salary greater than zero
Ends

Number of placements ending this month with a status of Completed or Terminated.

 


Submission Ratios

This report displays recruiting activity for a rolling 30-day period, for your primary and secondary departments.

Column

Description

Submission/Client Submission

Ratio of unique client submissions to internal submissions. Only counts submission in the last 30 days. Does not count submissions with a status of New Lead.

  • (Client Submission / Submissions) x 100
Client Submission/Interview

Ratio of interviews to client submissions in the last 30 days. Only counts one interview per candidate and job.

  • (Interviews / Client Submissions) x 100
Interview/Placement

Ratio of placements to interviews added in the last 30 days. Placements are counted regardless of their status.

Efficiency Ratios

This report displays recruiting activity for a rolling 30-day period, for your primary and secondary departments.

Column

Description

Response Rate

Ratio of unique client submissions to jobs added in the last 30 days. Only counts jobs added by or assigned to users within your primary or secondary departments. Does not count submissions with a status of New Lead.

  • (Client Submissions / Jobs Added) x 100
Fill Rate

Ratio of placements to jobs added in the last 30 days. Only counts jobs added by or assigned to users within your primary or secondary departments.

  • (Placements / Jobs Added) x 100
Hit Rate

Ratio of placements to unique client submissions added the last 30 days.

  • (Placements / Client Submissions) x 100

 


Timing

This report displays recruiting activity for a rolling 30-day period, for your primary and secondary departments.

Column

Description

Days to Submit

Number of days between the job added date and the first submission to the job. Only counts jobs added in the last 30 days that were added by or assigned to users within your primary or secondary departments. Does not count submissions with a status of New Lead.

Days to Fill

Number of days between the job added date and the first placement for the job. Only counts jobs added in the last 30 days that were added by or assigned to users within your primary or secondary departments. Does not count submissions with a status of New Lead.

 


YTD Department Leaderboard

The top five earning departments by revenue. These departments must be your primary or secondary departments.

Click the down arrow in the report header to toggle between graph and list format.

Description

Total Starts

Number of placements added this year with a current or prior status of Approved.

Only available on the list view.

Total Revenue

Revenue for permanent and contract placements added and approved this year.

  • Permanent placements must contain:
    • A fee greater than zero.
    • A salary greater than zero.
  • Revenue is calculated using this formula:
    • Revenue = Salary x Fee
  • Contract placements must contain:
    • A bill rate and pay rate greater than zero.
    • An end date.
  • Contract revenue is calculated using this formula:
    • Start Date - End Date = Days Worked (only counts Monday - Friday)
    • Bill Rate x Days Worked = Estimated Revenue

The top five performing recruiters by revenue. Only displays recruiters who report to you and whose primary department is the same as your primary or secondary department. Click the down arrow in the report header to toggle between graph and list format.

Description

Recruiter Name

Name of the user.

Total Starts

Total number of placements added and approved this year.

Only available on the list view.

Total Revenue

Revenue for permanent and contract placements added and approved this year.

  • Permanent placements must contain:
    • A fee greater than zero.
    • A salary greater than zero.
  • Revenue is calculated using this formula:
    • Revenue = Salary x Fee
  • Contract placements must contain:
    • A bill rate and pay rate greater than zero
    • An end date
  • Contract revenue is calculated using this formula:
