Configuring Your Regional Preferences

Bullhorn allows you to configure regional preferences. This article outlines how to configure your address radius distance, date format, time zone, and time format.

Change Distance Format for Address Radius

With Bullhorn's regional preferences, you are able to adjust the Zip Code Radius to display distance in kilometers (km) or miles. This affects the distance format when you perform a search using the Address field filter.

To adjust the Zip Code Radius, follow these steps:

  1. Click your username at the top of the screen and select Preferences.

  2. Under Localization, make the desired changes to the Zip Code Radius.

  3. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.

Making this change will only affect the distance format for your user.

Change Date Format

Bullhorn can be configured to display dates US format (MM/DD/YYYY) or international format (DD/MM/YYYY) within the date fields of all your records.

  1. Click your username at the top of the screen and select Preferences.

  2. Under Localization, find the Date Format drop down.

  3. Select the desired date format from the drop down.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.

Making this change will only affect the date format for your user.

Change Time Zone

Bullhorn detects your computer's time zone and adjusts the interface accordingly. Your Preferences page will display the time zone that Bullhorn detects.

Change Time Format

An admin can configure Bullhorn to display timestamps in 12 hour or 24 hour clock within the date and time fields of records. See Changing Bullhorn's Time Format for steps.
