Locking and Unlocking a User Account
Learn how to lock or unlock a user account in Bullhorn. Locking an account prevents a user from logging in without disabling the account entirely. This is useful if you need to temporarily restrict access while keeping the account active.
How Accounts Become Locked
Accounts can become locked in two ways: automatically by Bullhorn, or manually by an Admin.
Bullhorn locks an account automatically after:
-
90 days without a successful login.
-
Multiple consecutive failed login attempts.
When an account is locked, any active sessions are immediately logged out and the user can’t log in again until the account is unlocked. An Admin can lock or unlock any user account at any time.
