Configuring Auto Draft for Bullhorn ATS

This feature is only available for Bullhorn ATS.

Auto Draft automatically creates VMS submittal drafts when recruiters shortlist candidates in Bullhorn ATS. This feature eliminates the manual step of opening Sync to create a draft, reducing submittal time from minutes to seconds.

Prerequisites

You must meet the following prerequisites to use the Auto Draft feature.

• VMS Sync Account Features configured:

  • Type = Bullhorn

  • Submittals Enabled = ON

  • Submittals Draft Save = ON

  • Job Submission Auto Draft Enabled = ON

• Submittal forms must exist for the VMS positions

• VMS job must exist in Sync database

• Submittal mappings configured for field auto-population

Configuration Steps

Auto Draft Configuration is set up under Admin Tools. Follow the steps below to enable Auto Draft functionality.

1. Navigate to Admin Tools > Account Features.

2. Scroll down and toggle Job Submission Auto Draft to ON.

3. Under Job Submission Create Auto Draft On Status, select the Job Submission Statuses that should trigger draft creation.
   

   "Shortlist," "Submitted to Client"

4. Save your configuration.

Upon saving, a Bullhorn ATS API subscription for Job Submission events is created.
