Customizing the Commissions Tab
Overview
You may want to customize the Commissions tab so that it better matches the workflow of your company. This article will walk you through customizing the information that displays on the Commissions tab.
Customizing the Commissions Tab
Burden rates are automatically defaulted to 14% for each employment type. This can be changed by contacting Support. You must indicate the specific percentage you desire for each employment type you utilize.
- If you have the Corporate or Enterprise Edition of Bullhorn, you can change the following System Settings to modify attributes for the Internal Commissions section yourself:
- commissionRoleList: The list of values for the Role drop-down. If no values exist, then the Role drop-down is a text field (system setting).
- commissionRoleRecruiting: The default role assigned to the candidate owner (usually "Recruiting") when calculating a commission.
- commissionRoleSales: The default role assigned to the job owner when calculating a commission (usually "Sales").
- commissionRoleList: The list of values for the Role drop-down. If no values exist, then the Role drop-down is a text field (system setting).

- Support can change the following attributes on the Commissions tab for you:
- The default commission recipient for the Recruiting role. You can choose either the candidate owner or the user that submits the candidate.
- Whether or not Gross Margin Commissions should be displayed.
