Customizing the Commissions Tab

This article explains how to customize the Commissions tab on a placement record to match your company's workflow.

Changing the Default Burden Rate

Burden rates default to 14% for each employment type. To change this, contact Bullhorn Support and specify the percentage you want for each employment type you use.

Changing Internal Commissions Settings

You can change the following System Settings to modify attributes for the Internal Commissions section:

• commissionRoleList: The list of values for the Role drop-down. If no values exist, Role is a text field instead.

• commissionRoleRecruiting: The default role assigned to the candidate owner when calculating a commission (usually "Recruiting").

• commissionRoleSales: The default role assigned to the job owner when calculating a commission (usually "Sales").

Changing Other Commissions Tab Attributes

Bullhorn Support can change the following attributes on the Commissions tab for you, regardless of edition:

• The default commission recipient for the Recruiting role. You can choose either the candidate owner or the user who submits the candidate.

• Whether Gross Margin Commissions displays.

• The list of commission role values for the Role drop-down.

• The default role assigned to the candidate owner when calculating a commission (usually "Recruiting").

• The default role assigned to the job owner when calculating a commission (usually "Sales").
