Fields Linked Between Records

When you create a new record from an existing one, Bullhorn automatically copies certain fields to save time and maintain consistent data. The fields that carry over depend on the type of record you're creating.

Below are the fields that populate between Candidate, Contact, and Placement records.

Creating a Contact from a Candidate

When you add a Contact directly from a Candidate record, Bullhorn copies a set of personal and contact details. This helps keep information consistent when a candidate becomes a client contact.

Creating a Contact From a Placement

When creating a Contact from a Placement, Bullhorn pulls data from both the Candidate and the Job associated with the placement.

Because Placement records do not store job title or address information, those values come from the Job record.
