How to Locate and Report Over Placement CRM and Consultant IDs
This article explains how to locate Placement CRM IDs and Consultant CRM IDs for uploading Placement Actuals.
Locate Placement CRM and Consultant CRM IDs
Make the Columns Available
To find Placement and Consultant CRM IDs in Bullhorn Analytics, you first need to make the relevant columns available. To do this:
- Go to Admin > Metrics > Total Placements > Edit Columns.
- Find the following columns in the Hidden Columns section on the right, and click to make them visible:
- Placement ID
- Owner ID
If you can't find these in the hidden columns, check that they're not already in the visible columns!
- Save your changes.
Create the Report
Once you've made the relevant columns available, you can create a Slice & Dice report to find the IDs. To do this:
- Go to Slice & Dice and select Total Placements.
- Amend the timeframe to "This Year" and click Generate Report.
- Pivot your report by dragging and dropping the Candidate Placement ID, Owner, and Owner ID variables under Rows.
- The Candidate and Owner names make it easier to cross-reference any GP in your accounting/timesheet system.
- Save this report to use again, or download it to CSV to copy and paste into the Actuals template.
Tips
- To access historic placement info, you may need to go back several months or even years (by editing the timeframe and re-generating), especially to catch long-term contractors, because the IDs will be linked to the date of their original placement.
- A report that goes back years may take a few minutes to load, so be patient, then download the CSV and save it outside of Bullhorn Analytics so you won’t have to repeat the process!
- You can then just re-run the "This Year" report to catch any new placements when you want to upload future Actuals
For placements, candidates, and job statuses, we only pull data as it is in ATS. We don't store historical changes. If a placement was created two weeks ago and you run a report for the placement creation date, the placement will appear with its current status, not the status it had at the time.
