Adding a Free Text Field
In Field Mappings, you can find a custom field that is not currently in use and click on the hyperlinked field name to add your own name for the field and capture additional relevant information. Examples of the information you could include in this field type are social security numbers, pay ranges, and other custom import fields. If you're curious about the different types of fields you can add, navigate to About Custom Fields.

Find a custom field that is not currently in use and click on the hyperlinked field name.

Fill out the field details on the pop up window, then click Save.

Allow Multiple Values |
Allows you to toggle whether the field allows users to select multiple answers/values.

Sort Order |
Input the number that matches where you want this field to display on the Edit screen. Use the sort orders of other fields to help guide you.
Bullhorn recommends setting your sort orders in increments of 5 (e.g., 130, 135) so you can easily insert new fields later if needed. Each sort order must be unique. Do not assign the same number to more than one field. |
