June 2025 Release: Power Notes Features & Enhancements

June 2025 (2025.06 GA Release - Package Version 8.84.4)

Power Share Creation and Power Note Subject Change Confirmation Modal Added

The user experience for Power Share creation has been improved. If the Subject is changed to a non-shareable one, the user is alerted that the Power Share will not be saved. A new confirmation modal warns the user " This change means your Power Share will be now be deleted, are you sure you want to continue?"

If users deny the confirmation, the previously selected Subject remains selected and the Share side remains visible.

If users approve the confirmation, the subject is changed to the newly selected one, and the created share record is removed.

Redundant Task Removed When Adding a User to CC for Emailing

Users noticed that when sending emails from a PowerNote and including a UserClosed In Salesforce terminology, this is anybody that has login access to an instance. In Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud instances, usually the staff of recruiting companies in CC, a second Task was generated that was a blank task for the CC'd user.

Since the 'blank' activity provides a way of recording that the email was sent to a User (as opposed to a Contact) and there might be some legacy functionality referencing this Task, rather than changing the out of the box behavior, a setting is now available to permanently suppress the blank Task.

Configuration Steps

Go to Setup>Custom Settings> Talent Rover Properties> Block Non Contact Tasks for Emails checkbox. Enable if you want to suppress the "blank" Task.
