New and Enhanced Features

Resume Manager Enhancements

The following new features and enhancements have been introduced:

  • When using Resume Share, files can be sent as PDF.
  • When using Resume Share, the file can be renamed before being sent.
  • When a resume is saved after editing or formatting a new Contact Document is created and named using the following format:
    • Saving after editing: Candidate Name - Created Date
    • Saving after applying a template: Candidate Name - Template Used - Created Date
  • When using Resume Share, there is an option to exclude Users from the To lookup field.
  • If resume is a PDF, there is an option to select a recognition mode to improve PDF editing capabilities.
  • There is an option to exclude formatted or edited resumes from being flagged as default.

Resume Manager also now creates a Task every time a resume is shared or downloaded.

  • Clicking on the Share button in Resume Manager triggers the creation of a Task with Record Type of Share Resume.
  • Clicking on the Download Resume button in Resume Manager triggers the creation of a Task with Record Type of File Download

See Resume Manager Enhancements 2020.02.9 GA Release for more information and configuration steps.

Consent Tool (CCPA)

A versatile tool is available for customers that need to comply with Data Privacy regulations, the Consent Tool. This is a more flexible version of the Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud GDPR Tool, introduced in May 2018. Customers that are using the GDPR Tool can continue to do so or switch to the Consent Tool, which has similar logic and uses some of the same code.

  • The Consent Tool is supported in both Lightning and Classic
  • The Consent Tool can used to comply with both CCPA and GDPR regulations.

See the Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud Consent Tool User Guide for more information.

Configuration steps for System Administrators can be found in the Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud Consent Tool Compliance Configuration Guide.

Language Competencies Pack (Textkernel)

The Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud core package captures Candidate Language in a multi-picklist field on the Contact record. The Competencies Pack allows you to add information about language proficiency level. This allows recruiters to refine their search and identify the candidates with the required level of language proficiency.

The Competencies Pack enables the following functionality:

  • Ability to capture language and proficiency level on the Contact record through resume parsing and manual updates
  • Ability to sync this data with Textkernel, so it can be used in Search and Match

Configuration steps for System Administrators can be found in the Textkernel Language Competencies Pack: Configuration Guide.

Chinese Name Parsing (Daxtra)

Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud has worked with Daxtra to improve parsing accuracy of resumes containing English and Chinese names. Daxtra added an AlternateScript section to the extraction of names, so if an additional name is present in the resume, it can be sent to a different name field instead of the package Name field.

See Resume Parsing with Daxtra: Mapping Chinese Names for more information.

Minor Enhancements

  • ATS v1: The Closing Report edit page now offers support for lookup filters.
  • ATS v1: Adds an option to disable triggers that automatically update the Application/Submittal/Send Out owner field when the Contact owner is changed.
  • Job Lead: Custom field mapping when converting a Job Lead to a Job
  • Textkernel: The Parsing Debug Log can be set to auto-delete after a specified number of days.
  • Document Parser: System Administrators can disable the paste resume option.

Sunsetting Features

Job Manager and Candidate Manager: Job Manager and Candidate Manager are not being disabled but we will no longer support the feature. You can continue to use them or move to ATS v1 or ATS v2.
